Amrita Rao, born on June 17, 1981, attended C. G High School in Mumbai, and later enrolled in Sophia College to pursue a degree in psychology. She eventually moved out from there and to her surprise became one of the most sought-after models in India within a year with brands like Fairever Face Cream, Cadbury's Perk (Karwa Chaut ad) and Bru Coffee.
